Drassine is a small, senior team of engineers, designers, and problem-solvers based in Lahore, Pakistan. We exist because we believe software should be built with the same care as physical architecture — deliberately, durably, and with pride in the finished work.

Drassine wasn't born in a boardroom. It started in 2020 when a small group of senior engineers — each with years of experience building fintech, healthcare, and logistics systems — got tired of watching well-funded projects fail because of avoidable technical decisions. We saw companies buy software they didn't need, hire agencies that reused templates, and treat engineering as a cost center rather than a competitive advantage.
So we did the unglamorous thing. We started small. We took on a handful of projects we genuinely believed in — a point-of-sale system for a Lahore retail chain, an inventory tool for a diagnostic lab, a patient management platform for a dental clinic — and we shipped them with the obsession of craftsmen. Those first clients told others. Word travelled. And Drassine grew not through advertising, but through the quiet reputation of doing excellent work.
Five years later, we're still small by choice. We don't scale by hiring dozens of junior developers and calling it a team. We scale by keeping our bar high — only bringing on engineers who share our standard, and only taking on projects where we can genuinely deliver something we're proud to put our name on.

Measure, Don't Guess
Every performance claim we make is backed by real numbers — Lighthouse scores, load times, error rates. We instrument our code, watch the dashboards, and let the data drive every optimization decision.
Own the Whole Stack
We don't hand off parts of your project to subcontractors you've never met. The person who designs your database is the same person who deploys it, monitors it, and answers the phone when something goes wrong.
Ship Small, Ship Often
We don't disappear for three months and reappear with a "big reveal." We ship in weekly increments, demo at every sprint, and adjust course based on your feedback while the ink is still fresh.
Leave Everything Better Than We Found It
Whether it's our own codebase, a client's infrastructure, or a legacy system we inherited — we leave a trail of documentation, tests, and clean architecture so whoever comes after us has a better starting point than we did.

Discovery Call (Free, 30 min)
We start with a conversation — no slide decks, no sales pitch. You tell us what you're trying to build and why it matters. We ask honest questions about your budget, timeline, and constraints. If we're not the right fit, we say so, and often point you toward someone who is.
Scoped Proposal
Within 5 business days, you receive a written proposal with a clear scope, fixed price (or a defined rate card for longer engagements), a milestone schedule, and — critically — a list of what's *not* included. No surprises mid-project.
Weekly Sprint Delivery
Projects run in one-week sprints. Every Friday you get a live demo, a changelog, and a chance to reprioritize for the next week. You always know exactly where your project stands — no black boxes, no "trust us."
Handover & Aftercare
When we ship, you get everything: source code, infrastructure access, documentation, and a recorded walkthrough. Then comes a 30-day aftercare window where we fix anything that surfaces and make sure your team is confident running the system.
